We believe that we as an organization will play a huge role in impacting the nutrition situation in Africa, however, this can not be possible without an enabling environment including policies, government attitudes, systems and structures. All of these work together to impact on the key determinants of nutrition and they determine the efficiency of the intricate activities through which food moves from the farm to the table (the food system).

With this understanding, using our well-thought and developed advocacy programmes, we are reaching out to all levels of the community - government, the youth, the community leaders and the basic unit of the community; families. We are using our voice to enable other voices within the community to speak up for good nutrition, and through that encouraging and supporting the government to pay more attention to improving the nutrition situation in the country. We played a key role in supporting the UN Food Systems Summit by running an independent youth-dialogue, which was one of the only youth focused dialogue held in Nigeria.
