Folakemi Adufe Odugbose
CEO
Folakemi Odugbose is the founder of Impact Nutrition Africa Initiative. She has a B.Sc. in Human Nutrition and Dietetics from University of Ibadan, Nigeria. She obtained a Master of Public Health (MPH) in Global Health from the University of Alberta, Canada. She has about 10 years experience in nutrition program development and implementation, research, evaluation, stakeholder engagement and policy development. Her interest spans primary health care, global health nutrition, maternal and child health, social innovation and non-for-profit sectors.
Folakemi's devoted commitment to nutrition and public health has seen notable achievements. In 2018, she led a team to produce an affordable and nutritious baby formula to alleviate malnutrition among low-to-middle-income earners in Nigeria using locally sourced raw materials. She is the recipient of several awards, including the 2022 Alberta Top 30 under 30, De-United Indomie Scholarship Award, 2017 UTC Annual Price.

Elohor Akowien
Executive Director
Elohor Akowien is a passionate and results-driven Nutritionist with over eight years of experience in maternal and infant nutrition. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics from the prestigious University of Ibadan.
Throughout her career, Elohor has demonstrated a strong commitment to improving health outcomes through evidence-based nutrition interventions. Her expertise spans nutrition education, program implementation, and project management, with a proven track record of leading and supporting impactful nutrition projects across diverse communities.
Elohor combines technical knowledge with excellent communication and organizational skills, making her a valuable contributor to both field-level implementation and strategic planning in nutrition-focused initiatives.

Olatundun Olutola
...
Olatundun Olutola is a Public Health Nutritionist with a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Ibadan and a Master’s degree from the University of Southampton. She currently works as a Public Health Lecturer and Researcher at the University of Southampton, where she conducts research at the intersection of nutrition, food systems, climate change, and health. She also co-leads the Nutrition and Health module for Master of Public Health (MPH) students.
Olatundun recently completed her PhD, focusing on strategies to promote healthy eating and physical activity among underserved communities. She has been actively involved in the design and implementation of nutrition and health programmes across various regions in Africa and the UK.
Skilled in mixed methods research, public and community engagement, and statistical analysis using a range of platforms, Olatundun is passionate about advancing equitable access to good nutrition and health for all.
